Guest guest
Attention: Board of Trustees Pennsylvania Employees Benefits Trust Fund 150 South 43rd Street burg, PA 17111 Dear Board of Trustees: I was recently contacted by one of my constituents, Rose Judith Basso, regarding a concern she is having with her new prescription drug provider Medco Health Solutions. She contacted my office because she is having difficulty with the current way her prescription drugs are dispensed. Before Ms. Basso's provider was switched in January , she was able to receive her prescriptions which came with senior-friendly caps. Because of physical problems, both she and her husband have difficulty opening child-proof caps that come with standard prescriptions. Since her coverage was switched to Medco, she has not been able to receive senior-friendly caps and has had much difficulty getting her medication out of the standard medicine bottles. Could the appropriate individuals please look into the situation and see if there is anything that can be done to assist Ms. Basso in receiving senior-friendly caps for her prescriptions? If you have any questions, you can contact my consitituent directly at (717) XXX- XXXX. Thank you for your consideration of my request. Sincerely, E. Piccola JEP/jlt cc: Steve Crawford Now hows that for a letter, I thought it might be a good example of a letter with modifications for others to use. While working for the Medical Director of the Welfare Department I would receive letters to respond to. Because so many people are one way another receiving government appropriations this kind of letter is very effective. The cc: Steve Crawford means that Steve has been assigned follow up and will be frequently calling me to see if there continues to be any problems. By the way Jeff's wife has had MS for many years.
