Guest guest
Ok- It must be that time of the year. I figured I would share this since we had a thread going for awhile about SIDS/co-sleep, etc. I work at the University of Notre Dame and they sponsor Saturday scholars series lectures on home game weekends-yeah, doesn't make sense to me- who wants to listen to a lecture when you could be tailgating. Unfortunately, I work for the food services department(concessions manager) so i would not of been able to attend this even if i wanted to(which I did). Being a cool institution of higher learning-they taped it and its available on the web. The speaker is Professor McKenna-he runs a mother/child sleep clinic and is a huge researcher in SIDs and a huge proponent of co-sleeping. If you have time-watch this video-it is rather long but pretty neat and pretty cool to listen too! http://newsinfo.nd.edu/content.cfm?topicid=14204 Oh-besided being an anthropology professor(whom I adored as a student) he also teaches Irish/American tap dancing. Its his " hobby " . Happy early halloween! trick or treat! Kathleen mom to david fab 12/
