Lupus and Mito

I have Mito and I have Lupus...

both confirmed.

My ANA is consistently 1:1280

My kids all have mito and positive ANA's as well as anti histone

positive...two have the classic butterfly rash...

lots of joint pain...

I am curious about the butterfly rash look. Is that the same rash we have

talked about before on the group that looks like pressure bruising? The

reason I ask is because Tirzah (my 8 year old) has had this several times on

her face, chest, and other areas. She has always concerned me but her labs

looked fine a year ago when visiting Dr. Whiteman. She is the child that

had bone marrow suppression during/following a bad virus at 11 months of

age. We know she isn't healthy because she always has rings under her eyes,

is pale looking, has thin, oily hair all the time even just after washing

it, in too skinny, and has different Mito symptoms such as migraines,

dizziness, eye problems, etc.
