Well my last couple of weekis have been crazy. My note will be brief

as I feel miserable.

We saw Dr. Baughman on Friday, Sept 28th. He was terrific with both

Joe and I. He was such a breath of fresh air. Just like the first

doctor that treated me in 1971. Br Baughman started joe on a Steroid

inhaler and said that his lungs should be clear oin 6 to 24 months.

He said that I needed Remocade andMethotrexate, hope it gets approved

soon.

A couple of days later we were on a local highway during rush hour.

The traffic in front of us was completely stopped including us. We

were over 1/2 car length from the car in front of us. A girl in a

pickup hit us from the rear and pushed us into the back of the car in

front of us. From there things went out of control with lots of cars

being pushed into each other because of the jerk who hit us. Our car

was actually hit twice, thank God no one had serious injuries though

I am having some neck and back pain. When to the ER we both got a

really good checkup from a lady doc. All the xrays of our spines

showed lots of arthritis but no fractures or compressionfractures,

Went to see my chiropractor about two days later. Muscles in my back

were as hard as a rock. He's been doing flexon/distraction which is

really decreasing the pain. Just what we all need, more pain, HAH!!!!

Our friend dave who has helped us purchase cars for 25 years found a

real beauty, a 2004 Freestar Limited which is very similar to the

auto in the accident its just 4 years younger and only has 33,000

miles on it. He has been good to us and I looked up its value in NADA

car guide and carfax. The cars record is spotlessly clean and he sold

it to us for $4,000 below the book price. We will get it monday or

tuesday. Bob is extatic this car has seats that you can push a button

to heat when the weather is cold, actually has two different heat

settings for each seat.

What I like is the Air/heat system, Driver can choose the level of

heat or cooling in their area and I the passager can choose how I

want it.

Only minor problem is that the third seat can be folded under the

floor so gettin a the correct lift will be a little more work. I plan

to call ford monday so which one they suggest.

We get to pick up the minivan monday or tuesday after it is inspected.

My head is still messed up from the crash, short term mempory

problems again.

Can't wait to see you at the Indy Retreat. We will arrive on thursday

late afternoon so that I will have a little time to rest up.

Miss all of you very much. Need to get some rest will write more

later.
