Guest guest
I think Terry meant this to go to the duodenalswitch list, so I am forwarding it. Terry, I agree with you 100%. We have to know the risks, and it takes courage to make this choice. Fortunately, for the vast majority of us, it turns out well! My heart just did this flip and I know now without a doubt this is what I have to do. There were several who died waiting to have surgery and of coarse those who died because of complication and from other reasons after WLS. There was this one lady who was younger than me who had a massive heart attack waiting to be approved. One man was 665 pounds and he was denied by his insurance company. Can you believe that?? Like it said he could have died on the table but at least he could have had a chance. My heart goes out to all those they left behind but I think the saddest thing is they never realized their dream to be thin. I AM GOING TO FIGHT LIKE H*#L until I am able to have this surgery. Best wishes to you all in your fight and God bless all of you who are there to support us. LOL Terry
