Hi all,

Does anyone know what insurance Dr. Gagner is working with since July 1? I spoke

with someone in his office and she wasn't sure.

She told me he had made some changes as of July 1 and dropped some of the

companies/plans he had been working with until then. She was pretty sure that he

stopped working with Cigna - but not 100% sure even of that. She didn't know too

much about whether he's working with BC BS.

The BC BS website doesn't have any changes - according to them, he's working

with the same plans before July 1 as the list that's supposedly correct as of

July 10:

HMO Select or Prestige

PPO/EPO Deluxe

Indemnity Participating Network

Blue Card PPO

Does anyone have more accurate info? Anyone filed anything with BC BS under

these plans after July 1? Can anyone tell me anything about Dr. Gagner and

insurance companies in general? Has anyone been immediately approved, denied,

approved on appeal? Any battle stories?

my sleeve gastrectomy with Dr. Gagner on July 17th. Approval was less

than a week I believe. Wishing you the best of luck.
