Guest guest
One is two years out, and she had her blockage close to 1 1/2 years out. Her symptoms were more in her back than her abdomen. Actually, she went to a chiropractor for awhile, thinking it was a back problem. She experienced pain on her back, left side. When it finally got bad enough to call her surgeon, he knew right away what it was. Another gal recently had a bilio blockage and she let it go too long -- thinking it might be something else -- part of her intestines died and she had a longer road to recovery.>>>>> Holy cow, Kris (not meaning to offend any Hindus on the list) --- I've had intermittent aches in my back -- both sides, really right under my ribcage. It usually affects me after I've been moving my upper body a lot (cleaning and the like).... It can get really annoying. I've been trying to increase my water intake, etc. hoping it isn't something with my kidneys... I don't get these aches (more of an ache than an outright pain) constantly nor all the time... but I DEFINATELY am going to mention this to Dr. Gagner at my six month post-op next month (maybe I should reschedule with Dr. herron asap just to make sure?????????)... Thanks for this info... all the best, lap ds with gallbladder removal January 25, 2001 six months post-op and still feelin' fabu (but achy in the back at times!) pre-op: 307 lbs/bmi 45 now:
