Guest guest
Hi all, Thank you so much for your thoughts on respiration and heart rates! All were very helpful. I'm in the process of trying to coordinate things down here (Asher is now out of the hospital) b/c the hospital dr did not actively try to reach Asher's mitochondrial/metabolic dr before discharge and now that I've reached the mito doc, we realize that things weren't done the way they should have been for a mito kid. Another one of those " oh, he looks fine... why worry? " by the local drs. Ugh. My question: Asher woke up this morning and can't walk on his right leg. His muscle is incredibly tight - I don't know if this is b/c he was basically lying down for 5 days in the hospital and now he's up moving around. I also don't know if it's a side effect of his meds - I will call the drs later. BUT, my question for you all - is that I " ve heard that muscle cramps can be a part of mito. Will you describe them for me and what you do? Thanks, Anne
