Guest guest
My son takes Neurontin. He is 16. I think that it helps some people and not others. There is little chance of overdose or harm with it. It is a pretty benign med. It should help seizures, not worsen them. I think that most people who use it use too low a dose. The worst side effect is fatigue--so go up slowly. It is mostly used for neuropathic pain so I don't know if it would help unless you have neuropathy, or migraine or abdominal migraine. My son takes 1200 mg three times daily. He is small adult sized. Neurontin would be better than giving tylenol a lot. You should speak to your doc about the max amount of tylenol that can be given each day. It can cause permanent liver damage, among other things. An adult should never take more than 4G (4000 mg) of tylenol each day. A child's max amount depends upon weight.
