I know that post-op walking is stressed. I am

interested in joining a gym? So my question is for

post-op who joined a health club at what point post-op

did you join and what type of a work out did you do?

Lisbeth-

I am two weeks post-op as of tomorrow and I joined the gym a couple

days ago. I have started out with walking on the treadmill(at 4 mph

for 45 minutes) and riding the exercycle. I think in a couple

more weeks I will be ready to add some weights and things.

Hello Amy,

I was thinking that I would wait another 2 weeks

before I started my membership. I was thinking the

treadmill and the excersize bike would be a safe bet.

The only reason I am waiting a bit longer is because

my procedure was done open. Thanks for the input.
