Hi all,

I got a call from 's mom around 7pm and she said that she just got out of surgery. She said that did really well with the surgery and was in recovery. The surgeon removed 1/2 of her colon and then reattached the remaining portion to her rectum, so she won't need an ostomy bag. She has an epidural in for pain so hopefully she'll be comfortable.

Her mom hadn't seen her yet, but said she'd keep me updated throughout the weekend about how she's doing. I'll let you know when I hear anything more.

Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers.
