congratulations on your son!

My typically sleeps with his feet to his chest thus his FAB is

right in front of his nose. He has only hit himself once-not while

he was sleeping. One way I protect him is by having him sleep in a

sleep sack-i figure that keeps him from poking himself in the eye. I

have a couple of pictures of him where he is using his bar as a

teething ring! I too have numerous bruises from wacking me as

does my husband-I figure its the price I pay for straight feet.

I just wanted to let you know that you are not alone. A couple of

solutions is a bar cover to cover the gold bar-you can make this

with either car seat strap protectors or bike handlebars wraps.

Hope this helps!

You'll probably find your little guy in some pretty weird positions

while he's sleeping with the FAB. My best advice? Quietly get your

camera, tiptoe in the room and get a snapshot...as long as he's

comfy & sleeping I wouldn't worry! We have a ton of pictures of Ava

in various contorted positions!

Thank you for all your advises. After browsing the messages board I

feel ashame that my problem seems to be so " small " compare with

others. Anyway, I'll try to share to the group about the progress and

problems as much as possible.

Thanks again....Som

Please don't worry that your issue is too small compared to what

others may be going through. That's what we're here for. The

friends that we normally share things with are nice about the whole

clubfoot thing, but they just don't " get it " like we do.

I do know what you mean though, sometimes the support group even does

help me like that though just when I think things can't get any

worse, I read about what somebody else is going through and I think

hey, my situation is not so bad after all.
