Guest guest
Hi there, Today my son just got out of his last (3 week) cast. We went in for the shoe/bar fitting and the socks we brought just don't work. They are way to big and a little too thick. We got the Old Navy 0-6 months socks and the orthotist said he thinks they are a little different than they used to be. What does everyone else use. My son is currently 9 weeks old and he was seven weeks early- his feet are kind of small. Also, when we were fitted at the doc's office, the orthtist put on the shoes, then my husband, and then myself. The orthotist checked how we put them on and they seemed fine. He drew a line along the toes so we could tell if we were getting the heel far enough in. All seemed ok when we left the office. Not two hours later at home I checked to see that the toes were still in the right place and they had slipped back a lot. I'm worried about this. On our way out, the dr. said the shoes may be a little large, and we will see. Could this be the reason or might it be something else? I'm so worried about Jack losing his correction and getting sores. Thank you. Tara
