Guest guest
I did not read the article through, but the name Volkmar Weissig rang a bell. He was a grant recipient at UMDF 2004 the project title is Development of a method for transforming mitochondria living in mammalian cells with exogenous DNA. The summary is : They plan to develop and perfect a mechanism for transporting exogenous plasmid DNA through the interior of cells to the mitochondria, withn subsequent mitochondrial uptake of the DNA. BTW, we share the same doc, my daughter Zoe is seen by Dr. Cohen at CCF. We fly there for our mito care. Hope this helps. I heard somewhere also that some of these researchers are interested in communicating via email sometimes. He is at Northeastern U, Boston. But don’t quote me on that!! Take care.
