Real life got in the way!

Hi, I'm back! Given that you wrote on November 17, and it is now

December 11, and I still have over 7500 unread messages, and that's just

my WLS groups, well, that should give you a hint! Seriously, I am back,

and plowing through said messages.

Life is proceeding with me. I still (!) have a garage full of boxes,

which need to be sorted into the classic keep-donate-toss categories,

then try to figure out where the heck the keep stuff should go, while

trying to organize my house, while dealing with a certain little boy who

is WAY too much like his mother. I sometimes joke that he's a real son

of a b****, and I can say that, because I'm the b**** he's a son of!

Seriously though, he is a wonderful little boy, but he is five. A very

intelligent, creative, precocious five, but still five.

I've been reading about your trials and tribulations. I'm really proud

of the way you keep hanging in there! Sometimes that's all we CAN do. I

too am hanging in there. Not doing perfect, but doing pretty well. Still

staying right around 157, and still drinking those protein drinks that

Dr. Fisher swore would make me fat! Ooops, there goes my spitdisturber side!

Anyway, like I said, I'm back, and hope all will forgive me if it takes

a while to respond to messages that may have been sent!

I really do need to get plugged into local support groups. Driving up to

Oakland is just too much, especially with the HORRENDOUS traffic! Sigh.

I miss you guys!
