Guest guest
Hi Everyone, Hope you are all doing OK. I've tried to post a few times but couldn't. I am sorry to have been so out of touch in recent weeks, even months perhaps. No I haven't fallen off the edge of the earth or been gobbled up by one of ville's potholes. I am battling with all my " might " ...just lately my " might " just hasn't been what I wished it was. And there has been a problem with my computer and I didn't have the energy or knowledge to fix the problem. come over yesterday and fixed most of the problems so it is not such a challenge to use the computer. I am lucky and blessed to have a friend (one of my husband 's best friends) who is a pain specialist..he went in last week and did an injections to try to help with the shingles pain. It has helped. It was a little scary ...he went in through the front of my neck and put a pain killer and cortisone in next to the spine.. I would never trust anyone else to do that! NEVER! I am very very blessed to have a incredible wonderful team of doctors. I think I would have just crawled up in a hole and given up if they hadn't kept fighting with me. My right eye is so sensitive to any light now that I need to wear a patch. I tis not the same pain as the sharp pain when it gets inflamed..it just aches I get it checked all the time and am using the pred drops in addition to the Remicade. The Remicade has helped in so many ways. I hope you all are surviving the heat...I am just staying inside and not going anywhere I don't have to. You all take care Ruth PS Has any one heard from Kim? Guest guest
Hi, Ruth. I'm glad the Remicade helps & that the injection helped the shingles. It sounds like you are still enduring a lot of pain. I hope that you will find more pain relief soon. Unfortunately, I don't think any of us have heard from Kim for quite awhile.
