Luci, nothing is wrong. We all lose at different pace

so don't get too caught up in the fact that someone

else lost more than you did. Just do the program.

Work the tool and you will see the weight come off.

This is not a race but a lifestyle and you have the

rest of your life to lose. This is the happy time for

you because you will continue to lose just follow the

program. Some of us are slower losers while others

drop incredibly fast. I was a slow loser and I am

alright with that. Be encouraged.

Luci I only lost the water weight the 1st week home after surgery the next 2 weeks about 5 pounds, then 5 more the next week, then the weight really started coming faster. So 27 pounds in 4 weeks is great, don't worry. Just make sure you're getting your water all in, vitamins all in, protein, protein, protein and it sounds like you're doing that right. Exercise if you can, it really pays off. I know you're really tired and will be for some time but it does get better, have you tried exercising in the morning, or a lunch walk, anything will help. Weight wise you're fine, don't worry. DonnaLucia wrote: Hi everyone: I am back on-line and hoping everyone is doing fine. My surgery and recovery went well. I did not experiences a whole lot of problems

with the food, except for the acid reflux thing, that was a killer. Since my surgery on 11/14 and to-date I have only lost 27lbs. Is this the norm are am I doing something wrong? It was my plan to start exercising on the tread mill, but to be honest I am so tired and have little energy by the end of the day that it is all I can do to go to work (Swing shift). Please give me some in-put - I am not eating that much - keep it in the 1/4 cup range and it is protein first, I get full fast so for the most part I do not get any other food source in my system. What is wrong???? Should I be lossing faster?????Luci Donna JordonDSJordon@...

Luci and I wanted to add to what Donna said here and

maybe...just maybe you will fee better. The day of

surgery, I weighed 220 and the very next day, I

weighed before I went home (morning) and the scale

said 245.5. That was a 25.5 pound gain (nothing but

water). The surgeon said don't worry because they

pumped a lot of fluids in you. Well my first two

weeks I spent loosing only the 25.5 pounds that I

retained. After that, the weight came off but it was

slow. It was slow but it was also fast because I am

10 months out with 15 pounds more to go before I reach

my goal of 130. My surgeon said that I was fine were

I am at. I wore a size 20/22 prior to surgery and now

I am wearing size 8 petite. So hang in there and be

encouraged.
