Guest guest
Ok, so I just got a call from Kaiser Richmond to check on me. I told them I was fine and my pain was good and I felt great. They asked what I was doing for exercise. I told them I got out and walked twice yesterday, about 2 blocks each time (which I thought was doing really good right?) and she said ok, and what did you do today - so I told her I went to WalMart, now that in itself I thought was an accomplishment! At 2 whole days post-op and I am out and about at Wal-Mart, I thought I was doing pretty well until I was told that that would slide for today, but that I needed to do something to really get my heart rate going...."really get my heart rate going"? Should I be running a frickin marathon 2 days post-op? I just thought I was doing so well - I guess it just threw me. I have been worried about venturing too far and taking on more than I could handle, but it seems I'm not doing enough? Barbara
