Guest guest
I could really use a picture of bilateral freshly corrected feet. Any views, but mostly the standing from front and back feet. Also, to compare to this baby relaxed, a picture of the feet without shoes and just hanging. For a parent who needs a reference to her son's feet before tomorrow morning PST 8am. Please fwd any pictures you have of nicely corrected feet, in the 2-4mo range if possible. Naomi and I met with her today and we both feel that the feet aren't 100% corrected. Dorsiflexion is perhaps neutral, no more. Baby also seems pained when abducted. Last cast was not 70 degrees and DBB was prescribed at 30 degrees. I put his shoes on him and really seated his feet into the back, his toes pulled back from the front edge quite a bit so I know I got his feet in well. Got two more holes tighter in the strap too. Now to see how he handles tonight. he has a large red area on the outside of one of his feet that is very red and near bruised. I am thinking his foot was rolling in inside the boot and putting pressure on the outside. Even though I got his boots on well I am still unsure about the correction and I'm even more concerned about the dorsiflexion. He has had the tenotomy. Any help would be greatly appreciated. This is a local mom going to Shriners in Portland. Yeah I know.... I found her on the Club_Foot list. That new one that gets very little traffic. Thanks!
