Guest guest
Congrats on your wish... I would recommend making reservations early if you want them. You might also tell the wish group and they might do it for you. I highly recommend staying at Give Kids the World (GKTW)...its a magical place, in and of itself. Monday is no good at GKTW and they really take care of everythign and go above and beyond. I don't think our trip would have been as enjoyable if we hadn't stayed there. was too tired on some days to do much so we spent time there playing in the sprinkle park and the game room. We actually came home with a couple hundred dollars I think. We ate breakfast at the village every day and would go in the morning to the parks...sometimes we got back to eat lunch at the ice cream parlor which was just sandwhiches but they were good. Lunch at disney for our three adults and three kids cost about $45 each day for your basic meal deals. We never did eat dinner at the village but ate in a few times if andrew was too tired. We bought all three kids a small toy every day...then a bigger item on our last day. Everybody got a shirt too. We never spent a dime of our own money. We are not what I would call conservative spenders, nor as we that extravagant. The MAW here didn't really want to talk about how much money they were sending until right up before we left, so it was hard to know. I think we had $1200 but I have heard some wish groups giving more and some giving less per person. So it just depends. There are things I would have done differently if I had to do it over again though...and I might have bought a fourth day at disney and skipped sea world and maybe even universal. For us, we just dind't have enough time at the Magic Kingdom because could only handle a few hours in the morning and then a few after napping... deb...mom to three great kids and wife to one amazing guy!http://www.lifeofloveproject.org/http://www.debwells.com/
Guest guest
Yes, you should make reservations for the Character breakfast if you plan on doing that on the property. Are you staying at Give kids the world? I think most families stay there and included is a small condo like place- bedrooms, living rooms, small kitchen, bathroom, tv, VRC, . Breakfast and dinner daily. Ice cream parlor all day. Free movies, game room and they have character come there too plus Santa comes every week I think. You get tickets for three days to the parks (I think this is right). PLus spending cash based on how many peope in your family. This is what we got. We still spent some money but not that much. Give kids the world has a web site! Im sure others will share too! Dawn
