Guest guest
My internist has decided that I didn't have " seizures " at all, but probably something called Dystonia. After looking it up I agree with her. I wasn't unconscious and I wasn't shaking. My muscles seized up and contorted in half my body, then I was just frozen for a few minutes. It was painful and hard to breath. She told me next time it happens get someone to put Ativan under my tongue and call 911. What I read is that people with MS get it too. Lots of neurological problems get Dystonia. I wonder why new things keep happening whenever I get a flare-up. WHy can't it just stay in the areas I am familiar with?
