Guest guest
Just wanted to let everyone know how appt. with Dr. P. went. We were to have tenotomy done Friday, but when Dr. P. saw feet after casts were removed he thinks that he can strech tendon with the casts. He is in his 2nd set of casts this time. He will need to have them on for 2-3 weeks. Dr. P. said we can take the casts off ourselves and go back into the shoes after this. This is 3rd relapse in a year, he is 13 months old, I am very concerned that he will relapse again. Does tenotomy help with relapse? Other Dr. only had shoes at 35 deg. and they have now changed that and maybe that will help. Just know getting to posting because Karter does not like his casts. I know that he is not in pain, but just mad that he has two casts and can not move very well. Also, his leg on his calf was very red when other cast was removed. Is this normal? Never happened anyother time, but now I am worried he might get sores because the cast has to be on for longer. Any way we can tell without removing the casts? Thank you all Tabitha mom to Karter 7-30-04 bl cf
