Guest guest
Hi Ester, I am glad that you have finally made the decision to go ahead with the surgery. As you have stated it is only a tool used to lose weight. Unfortunately you can get hunger pains after you have surgery. They may not happen right away. Mine didn't show up until a few months after surgery. It is your body telling you that you have gone beyond the time that you are suppose to eat. The only thing is that if you get them before the time to eat you really have to decide if they are hunger pains or something else. Sometimes they can be because we are thirsty. You really have to learn the difference between real hunger, head hunger ( where you just think you are hunger) and heart hunger ( where you feel the need to eat something to comfort you ). That is why you go to case management and have to lose the 10 percent. It gives you time to learn how to eat properly and so that you can get the most out of your new tool. Once you have surgery you can't use food anymore to fix whatever that is bothering you. Ramona
