My upcoming surgery - July 30, 2001!

Well, the day is almost here! On Monday July 30, 2001 at 11:00am I am

having the DS performed by Dr. Jerzy Macura at Staten Island

University Hospital. I am still relatively calm and trying to remain

so. This list has been tremendously helpful in giving me lots of

useful information and allaying (sp?) alot of fear and anxiety I

might otherwise have. I went for my first consultation on May 15,

2001 so it has been a relatively quick process (altho lots and lots

of tests in a short period of time). Thanks everybody who has shared

their story and wished me well. I greatly appreciate it and look

forward to sharing my success story with others!
