HI Everyone-

I have been a part of the group for a couple of months and wanted to

share my exciting news. (Yukko-Congrats on your daughter-you

have great tastes in names!) came into the world on Saturday, August

6 @ 4:39 pm. She was 17 inches long. Not bad statistics considering

my daughter was 5 weeks early. All is healthy and we have already

started the casting process with Shriner's in Northern California. I

love my doctor. If any parents live in the Northern California--

Shriner's in Sacramento is a great place for the Ponsetti method. My

husband and I started her when she was 6 days old and we will

continue to see them every week. Most likely she will have a

tenotomy and then continue with the DBB. I do have a few questions

for parents out there. has been in her casts for a couple of

days and I was wondering about any advice on positioning with

breastfeeding. The casts weigh a ton and I was wondering what

positions are best. Most importantly, I was wondering if I should

ask the doc about giving her tylenol for pain. I am sure it is not

that comfortable with the casts on. Did any of you give your

children tylenol for pain? Also, I read many emails about Dobbs

brace & Markells. Shriner's uses the DBB brace. Can anyone give me

the game plan for these types of tools?

Thanks,

KC

PS. 's pic is posted--I still think her feet are cute!
