Guest guest
Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brillant, gorgeous, talented and fabulous? Actually, who are you NOT to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small doesn't serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. Its in EVERYONE! And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others. Mandella, 1994 Inaugural Speech
Guest guest
: EXACTLY! That's the radiance we all have inside. How many of us posties have been told that we are simply radiant? My PCP told me that a while back. Others mention it to me from time to time. I'm letting the love in and as a result, the light is reflected outward because people can tell I tapped into something. They don't know what it is, and some can't fathom my joy, but Mandella speaks eloquently about where it comes from. Thanks for sharing this!
