Guest guest
Tale of [half-]woe: The Calcium Citrate tablets that I take are big. So is the multivitamin tablet that I take. Normally, I swallow about a tablespoonful of tablets (calcium, multivitamin, Actigal, etc.) all at once. Last weekend, I didn't aim them all right, I guess, because one of those biggies stuck in my throat on the way down and wouldn't dislodge, no matter how much I drank (and drank). It was also mildly painful, and, understandably, a bit worrisome. Finally, I hit on an idea: small piece of vanilla cake with some ice cream on top. Let the ice cream start to melt into the cake, and swallow about a teaspoonful at a time. Worked like a charm, and that is why this is a tale of only half-woe. --Steve --
