Guest guest
Hi there, I know we all had this surgery so we didn't have to count calories, carbs, fat, etc...HOWEVER, I'm a compulsive counter and want some info from my fellow DSers... For those of you who need to fill up your brain with tedious details like I do, do you count your carbs daily? If so, what is the number you try to stay around...I know we don't need carbs nutritionally...(though the fiber in the dense carbs help with the consistency of our " special " poops...)and I know we absorb a huge percentage of them... SO, what should I be shooting for on a daily basis? I tend to crave them just like I did prior to surgery. I want to make sure I don't totally deprive myself, but stay in a moderate area of consumption. I am great about protein, vitamins, water and such...just need some assistance. I can't wait to hear from you... Be well, Mulvaney Rossell ( R on DS site) San Obipso, CA Dr. Keshishian 4/23/01 -53 pounds
