I read the posts here and there when I have time but time itself has become

so very precious to me....like everyone I am sure.

Not working won't be so bad....until the kids start driving you crazy which

should happen very soon if not already.

You are going to be moving into the house right before the holidays? That

is definitely not going to be fun.

Good Luck! I hope the family is well.

Talk to you soon

What a move, but not done

I think I briefly stated I was moving to North Carolina from Virginia.

Anyway, we are here. I got here last Monday. We are temporary in an

apartment until we find a house. My husband got a new job here, so I quit

the job I was at for 12 yrs and now I am unemployed. It is weird. I have

been working since I was 16 yrs old. We are in Charlotte. So far, I really

like the area. I think some of you on this board live in this area, or

close. I hope I can meet some of you. I left poor Joanne Walton with the

support group to handle on her own. Which, Joanne, if you are reading, how

was the September meeting?

Dr. Herzenberg recommended I see Dr. Frick. Apparently they are writing a

book together. I told Dr. H I still wanted to see him, but I may switch if

I can't work it out logistically. We'll see. It is 6 months before her

next checkup.

I am finally unpacked! But will have to repack again in 2 months when the

house is ready. And move again!!! Moving is horrible, and I hate it. With

that said, I can't wait until we are officially settled. Since the

apartment is only temporary, I am making no effort to make it feel like

home. The kids have been great throughout and don't seem to be effected by

the relocation. After a while, when Austin realizes he hasn't seen his

friends in months, I think he will be bummin' a bit.

Anyway, I have missed over 500 posts, so if there are newbies, welcome!! I

will try to stop in daily, but this stay-at-home-mom job is keeping me

busy!!!

Glad to hear you have arrived safely and that all is going well so far.

I hate moving too!!!!! We moved many, many times when I was a child (my parents

were ministers and we went where the church told us to). We used to joke that

moving was my mom's hobby. I don't mind so much the unpacking, it's the packing

that gets me.

I hope the house hunt goes smoothly and quickly and that you wind up in a place

that's everything you are looking for.

Pop in when you get a chance. And be well.

Kori,

You know, 's cracked in the rubber in the back at the upper part of the

hole. DH wants me to send pics to just to let him know. As of now, I

don't think there will be an issue with it. Can Darbi still use the broken

pairs? I don't think anticipated older kiddos being more aggressive with

the shoes. They keep breaking. I still love them though. I still think at

some point I will switch to Markells. We'll see.

is great! Everyone is great, thanks for asking.

How is Christian? Ears are good? Feet are good?

Yep, the house is suppose to be ready around Thanksgiving. We'll probably get

in right before xmas. You know how builders are.

Christian's ears and feet are doing well. Thanks for asking. We go see Dr.

H on November 11th. I am so glad that we are going in November only because

that will mean I won't have to make the trip down there again until the

spring.

Oh yes, I know how builders are. We are having an addition added to our

house and he was supposed to come last Friday then Saturday, then Monday and

today but still no one has showed up. He already has a $23,000 deposit

which makes me even more annoyed then I already am...LOL. Anyway, good luck

with the new house.

How are 's feet?

Talk to you soon.
