Help! What is the difference between DGB & BPD? Confused!!

Hi Everyone,

I'm new to this list I have been researching WLS for a few months

now. I have a question...I am considering having the BPD/DS

(Bileopancreatic Diversion with Duodenal Switch).

I have been reading some of the posts here and have heard a lot said

about the DGB/DS (Distal Gastric Bypass w/ duodenal switch).

Is that the same procedure as the BPD/DS or is it a different

procedure?...

It seems the more I read the more confused I get.

Can someone please explain the difference in these procedures if

any...
