:My sons used to be fed by J tube only. (they are on TPN now). My son Zachary told me he did not feel hunger but he was on full feeds. I think your daughter may feel hungry if she is not getting all the calories she needs. On the other hand, if she is vomiting, she may be so nauseated that she does not feel hunger anyway. In general, you should be able to run her J tube feeds at a higher rate than than but you should get directions from the GI doctor or the dietician as to how to advance and what the maximum may be. Typically significant diarrhea will occur if the J tube rate is too high. Liquid Co-Q: Epic does sell a liquid CoQ over the internet. http://www.epic4health.com/We used to use it and many on this list still do. We stopped because my kids could not tolerate the large volume of it. (50 mg is as much as 5 cc). WE have a compounding pharmacy make a much more concentrated liquid that is 60 mg/ml so much less volume. I don't think our compounding pharmacy ships but if you decide to go that route I am sure the pharmacist would share his "recipee" with your pharmacist. Let me know but put Anne J in the subject line since tyoically I scan digests very quickly.
