Steve, I agree - those citrates are HORSE pills. I know that Twinlabs (I

think?) makes a liquid calcium citrate (this is NOT to be confused with the

liquid calcium derived from oyster shells - this is CITRATE in liquid form).

I've also heard some people taking citrate wafers (tastes like Sweet Tarts,

which is appealing to me, anyway LOL).

I don't know how easy these products are to obtain - I think one may have to

go to a health/nutrition store. I haven't seen them in regular drug stores

around here.

Thanks for the cake and ice cream tip. I, too, have had those citrates

threaten to go down the 'wrong way' and stab my esophogus.
