Karter out of hospital

Karter is home. They think he has some kind of virus, sent stool and blood to

Iowa City and we get result tomarrow. I think he feels better today for he is

crawling and into everything. I am kind of happy to see him this way even if

it is a pain for me.

Going to call Dr. Ponseti on Wen. to get an appointment. Will let everyone

know when it is and how it goes. I am hoping we will not have to do the casts

again because it will be harder now that he moving, but whatever it takes we

will do. We were to call Friday and get appointment but Karter was still in

hospital and we did not get a chance to call. Do not know if they are going to

be able to get in this week or have to wait till next week.

How is Ava? Is she walking by herself yet?

Got to go amuse my sunshines and feed them.

It's exciting though that you're going to see Dr. Ponseti! I'm

jealous of everyone who meets him in person!

I haven't posted any pics of Ava here, but did you join CFPics? I've

sent a few through there in the past. Actually I just (finally!) got

her 1 year pics done, I'll have to send them. If you haven't joined

CFPics yet you should--we send pics of the kiddos, and their feet &

CF related things. But alot of them are just for fun!

vaccine last Friday and has been downhill since. He has lost 4

pounds and is starting to look like a prune. Had specialist come in

today and finally got iv started. That is good. I am trying to

think of ways to keep him busy.
