Guest guest
Just a clariificaiton: There is the biliary limb---digestive juices go down this one. There is the ailementarty limb---food from stomach goes down this one. Then the 2 marry and become the Common Channel, this length varies from 50-100cm by surgeon. This is where the digestive juices mix with fat and protein to be absorbed. Carbs don't need much help to absorb, esp. simple ones like soda!! if wt loss is too great or too little--the adjustment would be made in the common channel. Hope this helps!
