Guest guest
Thought I'd post this, as I've seen several messages lately about those nasty insurance companies refusing to pay for the shoes. Our insurance initially refused to pay for Dinos' shoes when we got the DBB, but then we found out that they classified the shoes as " orthotics " (like those custom insoles you can put in your shoes to keep your feet from hurting). Get a letter from your doctor specifying that the shoes are not " orthotics, " and that they are " durable medical equipment, " which most insurance companies do pay for. That worked for us, and good thing, since I think by the end, we'd gone through four or five pair of shoes! Keep on fighting!
