You are SO RIGHT! The mental changes are the most important ones

because for me, if my head and heart are in the right place, I can

follow the guidelines to do what's best for me and that requires me

to be honest with myself.

I've said before that I love myself not because I lost the weight. I

was able to lose the weight because I started to love myself first,

and that required a whole mind shift including being honest with

myself.

You are on to a really important break-through. With that

realization, you're on your way to the otherside--the " mental " bypass

surgery that we all have to perform on ourselves.

It's not the easy road, and there will be bumps along the way, but,

man o man, it's one hell of a ride.

I have a long way to go, and I have nothing but respect for those who

have gone before me and all the insight they share here, but the

changes in your brain can start as soon as you are honest with

yourself. The body changes will follow but everything is at risk so

long as the mind.
