Had my appt. with the evil one yesterday, (also known as the Rheumy)

she is the most petite lady you ever saw, barely stands to my

shoulder, her wrists are about the width of my finger, she speaks with

a whisper but dont let that fool you, she KNOWS how to cause

PAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (screw the exclamation point rules!!!!!!)

With one boney little finger she can have a grown man writhing in

pain in seconds and whimpering for the rest of the day, and does it

all with a smile while telling you that she is helping.

Hows that for sadistic???????? AND I PAY FOR THIS????????????????

WHOS THE SUCKER??????? TELL ME MODERN MEDICINE AINT SOME KINDA SHELL

GAME!!! Anyway, she besides being a noted Rhuemy locally, is an

acupuncturist and Chinese herbalist, (as you might have guessed she is

of Chinese decent,,,,,what a leap!) Now she is saying t hat she thinks

although the Embrel might still help and there are other meds still to

try acupuncture and possibly herbal meds stand a better chance of

helping in the imediate future because of the toxic nature of the

drugs that I am taking.

I not so sure I disagree, with the solumed and mtx and enbrel and

twenty some other meds, there is bound to be some build up, what the

hell do I have to loose to try something new as long as it wont

integere with what were doing right now anyway? So I think were going

to give it a shot. So if someday soon you hear a loud highpitched

girly scream echoing across the fruited plain, its probably ole Stu

gettin poked in the butt with a long hot needle by an inscrutable

Chinese doctor.........Hows that for a mental image...........
