Guest guest
Are they doughey and moveable? If so they could very well be something called lipomas (sounds scary, really isnt) basically its a small collection of fat in the soft tissue, and is very common and totally harmless... I dont know if their mito related or not, but i know many people wihtout mito that have them. I have 2 at the base of my skull on the back of my neck... my best friend has one in her thigh that she was convinced was cancer, but it wasnt. have a doc take a look at it and they can determine if its worth being worried about, a simple xray may put your mind at ease.... I hope its just that! > > Hi All, > I've got a question and I'm sure it's not mito related, but I > thought you were the best people to ask. Ones that were loving > concerned parents. Guest guest
Dawn, I think I have heard others (adults mostly) speak of having these lipomas too. I think that I have them though have not been officially diagnosed as so. they are just fat I believe but would have them checked out just to make sure. hope this helps, Dawn (feel like I am writing to myself)
