We get to take my sons casts off in 2 days. He is 14 months old and

just started seeing Dr. P. He told us to go back into the DBB 23

hours a day for 2 weeks then could go down to 20 for 2 weeks and so

forth. He goes back the end of Nov. What I was wondering is when he

went to Dr. P. he was still in DBB for 18 hours a day. Doing no good

because feet were not corrected. So now it is ok to have DBB on for

less time? The way I understood him is that he is older and starting

to walk we can go down to less hours. I am very worried he will

relapse and will probably keep shoes on for more hours than needed.

Before he was casted again, he could stand and walk around objects

with DBB on. If I leave them on longer does it effect his development?

Dr. P. also said we might have to get Mitchel's because we would spend

most of our days putting shoes back on. Hoping that being corrected

will stop the blisters and him being able to get feet out. In the

case that we need them how long does it take to get them? We are in

Iowa and believe (?) is somewhere in Iowa also, but will need to

be mailed.

For everyone that helped me find plaster for Karter.....Thank you.

When someone said art store. I reliezed by BIL was going to school

for art and he had left some plaster at MIL's house over the summer.

Got him all fixed. Kind of worried how I will ever get them off,

because They are thick in some areas.
