Guest guest
Hi all, The GI doc who specializes in dysmotility whom we just saw up in Boston is recommending that our local GI doc prescribe Zelnorm (tegaserod) to get Asher's bowels functioning again.... it's either that or continue with suppositories every 2-3 days or even a c-tube (a tube that goes into the cecum that he can flush out the poop with - yuck).... I'm wondering if anyone else has used Zelnorm and how it's worked. I'm so worried that he'll get tons of diarrhea... he's potty trained for pee but I have no clue about bowel movements for him b/c he hasn't had one on his own in over a year. He goes to preschool and I hate to see him have an accident.... Any ideas?
