Guest guest
JD is on 1,200 IU Vitamen E a day. This, from what I was told by Dr. Whiteman, to keep his heart well. His ekg's have been abnormal pre-vit e but his echos have been fine. Dr. Whiteman said that JD's depletion of vit e and b2 were the lowest he has seen since he has been at the mayo clinic. His carnitor, q-10 and c were extremely low too. Hopefully, we will know more this visit. Darlene
Guest guest
It's hard telling because often our kids absorb things differently. It might seem like alot for a non Mito person, but might be just the amount a mito kid needs in order to absorb the minimum amount. I would ask the doctor. Guest guest
Remembered that JD has to have his vit e checked every month because Dr. Whiteman did say that if he got too high that it could be just as dangerous as too low.
