Guest guest
I have not posted since joining the group in June. We had just found out at 20 weeks into our pregnancy that our daughter had BCF (so they thought). We have kept up by reading the messages, however, this is my first posting since our daughter was born. Our beautiful baby girl, Kolby was born on Aug 15th. We had her first cast put on by Dr. Ponseti on 8/24. She actually only had RCF and her left was turned in only at the top of the foot. Her right foot was casted 7 times and her left only twice. She had a tenotomy on her right and yesterday we had the mitchell shoes put on. Dr. Ponseti has been an angel, we feel so lucky to live close to Iowa City. My daughter has been a real tropper through everything and really handled it all well. However, yesterday and last night were rough. She is really struggling to adjust to the shoes and did not sleep much last night. Any advice or recommendations on making her comfortable and helping her sleep would be greatly appreciated. Thank you! Reese Kolby RCF
