I have 15 days to go until my surgery and I woke up last night with a fear (so real)that when I go to my pre-op on 1/26 that I haven't lost enough and they tell me NO. According to my scale I have lost it all plus a few extra but what if our scales aren't the same? I just don't think I could stand it if they tell me NO! I have worked for a over a year to get this far. Any last minute help would be appreciated. I have been working out 3-4 days a week but my daughter thinks I am not eating enough calories and that is why I haven't lost anything this week. I have gotten to the point of being afraid to eat much. What I am eating to all good and I am drinking my water. What more can I do? I am just so afraid of rejection AGAIN.Peggy Colleen
Guest guest
Peggy: This is a difficult time, and you may find that your resolve is tested. But don't be afraid. When it is your time, the surgery date will come your way. Don't let the fear consume you. Repeat to yourself that your pre-op days are coming to an end. Stay the course, and continue the way you've learned is the way to go. I know oh-too-well how fear-inducing the waiting game can be. I know that it can be frustrating too. Try to use this time to train yourself to be patient. This process is full of times that require us to be on hold and to wait. Peggy, there is a reason why your journey is unfolding the way it is. Embrace it. Try to learn from and embrace this time. But know that your time will come. Let yourself be successful and don't sabotage yourself. As a wise man once said, " You absolutely generate the results in your life that you believe you deserve. And if you don't believe that you deserve all the good things... you will sabotage yourself every step of the way. " Peggy, believe that the miracle of gastric bypass is about to happen for you. Believe that you will be successful. Tell yourself that you'll be successful even if you don't yet believe. Tell yourself until you believe. I didn't believe at first either, but I repeated it to myself until the miracle did happen. The miracle wasn't the transformation of my body, although that WAS a miracle indeed. The miracle was really the transformation that happened in my heart because once I believed that I deserved this gift, I was able to do whatever it took (food, exercise, water, vitamins) to get me to the Promised Land. You're almost there, Peggy. Your turn is just around the corner. Have faith and that faith will turn into positive actions for yourself. Francisco > > Hi everyone. Guest guest
Peggy Make sure you are eating 1000 - 1200 calories or your body will slow down the weight lose, especially if you're exercising. Take care. You're in my thoughts and prayers. Donnapegmo1212 wrote: Hi everyone.
