Guest guest
Well, 's birthday was today--four!! His party is actually tomorrow so today we took him to Build a Bear as a suprise. He is ready to quit wearing his shoes, but he said he is not ready to quit sleeping with them that he wanted to sleep with them like a stuffed animal. So we took him and his shoes to Build a Bear (we had never been there before) and he made a bear to wear his shoes. (He named him Coconut Whiskers...) So at bed tonight I put shoes on Coconut Whiskers. was very pleased with this arrangement. His older brother who is 8 said special prayers that 's feet not get as bad as they were when he was a baby (he prays every night that 's feet stay straight). He, however, is very concerned about relapsing and wanted to know what would have to happen if they started turning in again. He was so worried and asked so many questions about it. He said will they have to put him back in casts again that hurt him so bad or at least he really did cry.....maybe that was because it was so loud in there. It's amazing the things kids remember. He was only four when he watched his baby brother going through this. I just can't believe we are finally here! Love and hugs to all!
