Hello All,

My sister underwent the synvisc treatments for bone on bone arthritis

and did quite well with no side effects.

steroid, but it is derived from rooster combs. This site explains it

well:

with a gel like film to stop the bone on bone. I will ask my bone doctor

again next week when I see her. I have had this for sometime. I now have

NS and it doesn't seem to make a difference to the drs. I take

prednisone and methotresate so I am on the steroids also. I couldn't

continue to try and walk without the synvisis. Let me know what you find

out. Also if one of the mentors are reading please tell us what you

know---Rose, Debbie or Becky
