Guest guest
Hi group, Last week I went for testing to see how my lungs were functioning. I also had chest xrays. I decided to go have a checkup due to a cough that would not go away. I thought maybe it was just sinuses draining in my throat but wanted to get it check anyway since the cough was lasting a while. My xrays did show little patches of sarcoids in the lungs but I was told this was normal in sacoid patients. Luckily there is no scarring and I hope that it will be able to clear some. My lung function test showed that I was getting about 50% of the air I shold be getting in my lungs. So the doctor said it was like having only one lung. This makes sense since I feel so tired so quickly and out of breath at times. We are not trying to raise the lung function with methypred and I hope that helps. I hadn't written in a while but I have been reading and thought I would share with you guys. I get a lot of helpful info from you all. Thanks. Shauna in Atl.
