Guest guest
Thanks to everyone who replied. I feel a lot better. I was worried his foot was going to stay that way if he kept on doing it. I was asking about when to reduce the hours because I dont think Dr P. will be seeing us for a while. I wont beable to go there for checkups very often because I am in California and Iowa is so far and I am a single mother so its extreamly hard for me. Thats why I like to ask you guys for advice, your not Doctors but you are definitly the next best thing. And for all the mothers who were asking if the casts and the bar slows down their development, in Noah's case it did not slow him down at all. He was casted from 2 months to almost 5 months he got his P/M's at 51/2 months and was crawling sitting up rolling all over by 6 months, he was rolling with his big cast at 4 months. So dont worry they find their way to do what they are supposed to do. He is now 7 months and is very fast getting around with the P/M's on and pulls himself up to stand also. Now if this process is the cause that he has no teeth yet then I would worry I'm still waiting for one to pop out! Well thanks again everyone. & Noah 03/20/05 LCF P/M's 23/7 wrote: This is my daughters fav way of sitting too hehe, so cute. She sits in her highchair with her feet crossed always and plays with her toes. She also did the flexing in thing with her foot, our doc said that she was just stretching and playing with her foot. She is unilateral and did this with both feet so we didn't worry too much about it. I think that if I were wearing shoes 23 hrs a day, I would be moving my feet like crazy once the shoes were off, I wouldn't worry about it. & Grace > > My son did this too, and it freaked me out a bit.
