Guest guest
Rose, I went to IU Med center about a year ago and had such a bad experience with a " sarcoidosis specialist " Dr Wolf that I decided to stick with my local docs. The good news is that I did get some specialist testing that the locals were not doing and the results helped them to wake up and give me better treatment. I'd see Dr Wolf on Thursday and she'd say I want you back up her on Monday for this test and then do nothing. I called for 3 weeks before anything was scheduled ... then she wanted me to come in the next day for tests. When I explained I had to find someone to drive me and it was 7:30t the night before...she said well do you want the test or not!. It just wasn't working for me. By the time I went back the flare had settled down so there wasn't much to see. Anyway ...the answer to your question is yes I did go to IU but now I don't. I did see an iritis specialist in Indy also. He was GREAT but don't ask me his name...I barley remember mine anymore TTYL Ruth
