Jayson's really not liking his FAB.

Jayson (little over 2 months / left club foot) got his DBB/Markells

exactly one week ago. He was not a happy camper for the first couple

days of having the shoes on. If he wasn't sleeping, he was bawling his

eyes out.

On the third day, all was well and he was back to his gooing and

giggling self. We figure this would be a great time to give him his

first actual bath. Bad idea, I guess. The moment the shoes came off,

he was in hysterics. He calmed down a bit during the bath, but then

came time to put the shoes back on. This was our first attempt to put

the shoes on. Needless to say the poor kid was in hysterics again,

which lasted for another day. When attempting to figure out why he

became calm I found that his left (club) had partially pulled out of

the shoe. Luckily I was home by myself and had the joy of attempting

to put the shoes back on without assistance from my wife. I got the

shoes on him, but again, he was fussy for the next day or so.

Today was bath time again. Time to wash those stinky little feet. Like

usual, the moment the shoes came off, Mr. Fussy was back at it again.

My rambling questions:

We are really at a loss. How long does it usually take for your little

ones to adjust to you removing and putting the shoes back on? Do you

think he's being fussy because his foot hurts him? I haven't found any

bruises, red marks, or blisters that are mentioned in the FAB tips and

tricks document. Should he be fussy for days after touching the shoes?

Any other suggestions?

Please help, I feel really terrible when I even attempt to take the

shoes off or put them on.

Thanks,

-BJ
