Hi, Pam. Welcome back to the living.

You betcha. But, not as bad as your symptoms. There may be a

**partial** blockage of sorts that will resolve itself, **by

itself**, in a few weeks or less. Not to worry. In my case, BTW,

Dr. Elariny did not trust the staples at one kink in my stomach, so

he put in a few sutures by hand. This restricted what could pass my

stomach for a while, but it evened out in a few weeks or so -- I

cannot remember exactly.

No.

Sorry that you are experiencing this. A lot of it may be because you

still have not healed inside. But, as long as it goes away after a

sort time, it should resolve itself, as I said above, by itself.

Yes, I had one even before I left the hospital, and I had to sneak

some ice water to bring down my fever to be able to get out of jail

(they didn't want to let me go when they saw that I had close to 100

degrees F.). Then two weeks later, it blossomed into a hellacious

head cold.

Kind of like when you board your dog at a kennel. Or when you send

kids off to college. When you pick them up, they come back with a

kennel cough. It seems that you cannot be hospitalized without

catching something. Be grateful that what you have is all that you

caught in the hospital. I know that I am being cavalier about

something that worries you, but I am also being truthful.

Best,

Steve (aka " angel " )
